Report a clip
Last updated 7 November 2026
SportSnip turns a club's own match footage into clips for that club's members. Clubs confirm that they hold the rights to every match they upload, and that they have any consent needed for the people shown in it.
If something has gone wrong, tell us and we'll act on it.
A child or safeguarding concern
If a clip shows a child who should not be shown, or raises any safeguarding concern, email safeguarding@sportsnip.com with “Safeguarding” in the subject. We aim to reply and, where needed, remove the clip from SportSnip within 24 hours.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 999 (UK) or 112 (EU) first.
Footage you own, or that was used without permission
If you hold the rights to footage that a club uploaded without permission, email safeguarding@sportsnip.com with “Rights” in the subject. We aim to reply within 3 working days.
Something else
For anything else, such as a player who wants a clip removed or a wrong name on a clip, email safeguarding@sportsnip.com.
What to include
- the link to the clip, or the club, teams and date of the match;
- what the clip shows, and the time in it if you know it;
- who you are, and how you're connected (for example parent, player, club officer or rights holder);
- for rights: what you own, and how we can confirm it.
What happens next
- We remove the clip from SportSnip, or the whole game if needed. The club can no longer see or download it from SportSnip.
- We tell the club what was removed and why, without passing on your details unless you agree.
- We reply to you with what we've done.
- We can't remove copies the club has already downloaded or posted elsewhere, such as on social media. We'll ask the club to remove those too.
We keep a record of each report and what we did.
