Who we are

SportSnip is run by DCD & Sons Ltd (company no. 15240422), 24 Picton House, Hussar Court, Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO7 7SQ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described here. Questions or requests: support@sportsnip.com.

What we collect and why

• Your account: your email address, name if you give it, your club or organisation, and how you sign in (password, Google or two-step sign-in). We need these to give you access to your club's clips.
• What your club uploads: match videos, match sheets, brand kits and the clips we make from them, plus corrections and notes. We process these only to provide the service to your club. Your club confirms it holds the rights to every match it uploads; SportSnip only processes the footage into clips and checks them.
• Register your interest: the name, email, club, sport and message you send us, so we can contact you about SportSnip.
• Website analytics (only if you accept): Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells us how people use our public pages (for example which pages are visited). It runs only after you press Accept on the cookie banner, and never on signed-in pages. See our cookie policy.

Legal basis

Providing the service you or your club signed up for (contract); answering people who register interest (legitimate interests); analytics cookies (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of our public pages).

Who processes it for us

We use service providers to run SportSnip: hosting (Vercel), database and sign-in (Supabase), file storage (Cloudflare), email (Google Workspace) and, with your consent, Google Analytics. They act on our instructions. We don't sell your information.

How long we keep it

Account details for as long as you have an account. Uploads and clips for as long as your club chooses (each game has a “keep until” setting) or until it is deleted. Interest requests until we have dealt with them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Email support@sportsnip.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
